One day I was in the kitchen watching my mother cook. My dad was in the other room. Suddenly, my mother spilled a pot of hot boiling water on her arm from the wrist to the elbow. She began to shout in agony, but mostly cry because of the pain. When my dad heard her, he ran into the kitchen to see what happened. I told him. Then my dad, being a faithful man, delicately held my mom's arm in the palm of his hand and began to pray out loud. He put his hand over the burned area as if to lift that area up to God. Quickly my mom stopped crying and it was all over. My dad asked if she felt better and she said she did. After my dad left the room again, I asked my mom what happened and she said she "felt a coolness come over her arm." That coolness took the burned wound away and restored my mom's arm. This is my testimony of how God healed my mom because of my dad's faithfulness.
